Tuesday 30th November marked the end of “Movember”, and to celebrate we had one of our awesome gaming nights topped with Domino’s Pizza!

Cem (the cheating boss) always seems to lead the table of kills, with his rocket launcher and infinite armour. Iain (the selfish), killing from impossible distances and angles. Jonathan (JC the weak lemon drink – don’t ask!), probably the better out of the PC users has his moments, but can get pretty touchy when he’s losing. Siu (the owwww man), with his master gravity gun, killing people by launching file cabinets and tables. Then it’s me (the victim of constant abuse), with the slowest machine on planet demo, more often than not finishing bottom of the table with the least kills and most deaths, although I have been awarded the most improved player! And last but not least our new comer, Liv aka “Smash Down Rara”, who now regularly takes the last spot, but she did have her moment of glory when she was camping (hiding in a spot and taking us down one-by-one), leading the table all be it it temporarily.

Counterstrike time

Soon it was time for Counter Strike – good VS evil, counter terrorists VS the terrorists. A wicked team game with the aim to complete a mission. Diffuse a bomb, rescue the hostages and of course kill your opponents! Teams are auto assigned, weapons are bought and away we go. Flash bombs, grenades, machine guns, rifles and shot guns! A game of cat and mouse, search and destroy.

Yet again, Cem always seems to get impossible kills with his long range sniper rifle and shooting people in the back. The rest of them go on a rampage, always the first in the firing line, with me closely following behind waiting for them to expose an opponent and BANG –another one bites the dust! (normally me being shot in the back by Cem). A bombs been planted, and now it’s a race against time to diffuse it. With the terrorist team guarding the bomb, the counter terrorist team must attempt to diffuse it before it blows!

It’s 8pm, the door bell rings, the Pizzas were here! Meat and spicy vegetarian, with Domino’s dips and Coca Cola! Our weekly top-up of saturated fat! Munching away, re-iterating the awesomeness of JC’s body being flung meters up in the air after being shot by a rocket launcher.

A little more gaming and it was time for home. Looking forward to battling the London snow!
